... this is the moniker of me, Paul Flynn. I’m a web designer and front end web developer, currently based in Queenstown, New Zealand.

All the websites I develop are built to (W3C) web standards & accessibility. The content is optimised to be SEO(search engine optimised) friendly. http://work-lifehealth.co.uk/After graduating Manchester Metropolitan University, in Deign & Art Direction, I gained experience working for Section-D and The Lift Agency in Harrogate, primarily focusing on print design. In December 2006 I secured employment working with one of England's leading agencies, Code Computer Love.
Working at Code I learnt from some very talented designers and developers. As part of the design team I worked with clients like HMV, Waterstones, Huggies and Arcadia Group Limited. Developers like Jono Brain, Andrew Disley and Matt Booth gave me insight into the web industry, showing how to develop ideas and deliver what the client needed, while still exceeding their expectations. This led me to develop and push my development knowledge.
In 2008 I returned to Harrogate to work at The Lift Agency, here I had the opportunity to be more hands on with development and design. While at Lift I worked with clients like West Ham, Lapicida and 1000 Mile. This is where I pushed my development skills, working with XHTML, CSS, jQuery and PHP.
As well as professional experience I've always taken a keen interest in the industry, during 2008-09 I took the opportunity to attend some great sessions; For a Beautiful Web, with Andy Clark, then a trip to Clearleft, with Andy Budd and Natalie Downe. We covered subjects on advanced CSS, usability, layout, typography and semantics and in our groups taking the time to discuss these new techniques. As well as these I attended Future Of Wed Design and @Media conferences, amongst many talented designers and developers presentations Jason Santa Maria and Molly E. Holzschlag really stood out, leaving me with new ideas and techniques to bring into my work.
